Former Director of Communications for Prime Minister Tony Blair
David Hill has been at the heart of British political communications for over 30 years.
He was Director of Communications to the Prime Minister of the United Kingdom, Tony Blair, from 2003 to 2007. In this role he accompanied Tony Blair around the world and was engaged in all aspects of UK domestic and international policy.
Prior to moving to Downing Street he served as Managing Director of Good Relations Political Communications. Among his clients during that time were BP, Coca Cola, AMEC, Corus and Monsanto. Before this he was the Chief Spokesman for the British Labour Party and has worked as a Special Advisor to the UK Government.
He rejoined Bell Pottinger in 2008, where he provides high level strategic counsel to political leaders, governments and private companies across the Chime group.
